Activism Still Rocks My Effing Socks

My last post was in June? JUNE!?! Wow ... that is proof that I suck. :)

For anyone who cares, yes, I'm still alive. Although only one person contacted me recently to make sure I was; I AM indeed; still here. hahaha Can't get rid of me yet, SUCKAS!!!

Things are fun, work is work and activism still rocks my effing socks so ... yeah, that's me in a nutshell. :)

I've gotten involved with a new cause but the others are still alive and kicking.

End the Fed is coming up on 11/22, which of course I am excited for. The upcoming second year anniversary made me think of my blog, or lack thereof. HR 1207 is still alive although some are trying their best, to gut it. Fuck 'em. This is a sign we KNOW, progress is being made.

So many people I support are running for office next year:

Debra Medina
Adam Kokesh (YAY!!!)
Peter Schiff
Rand Paul
RJ Harris
and a few others :)

I think of you all often, even though it may not seem like it. PJ Pants, Damm, Thomas, Mobi ... *Sigh*. My blog boys. :)

Anyway, just wanted to say 'hi'. I hope you are all good and I am thinking of you. It's weird to reflect where I was, mentally, this time last year.

I'll sign off with one last thing; END THE FED, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

"Mistook their nods for an approval; Just ignore the smoke and smile"

A Perfect Circle -- Blue

Secret Sundays: 31.May.2009

The following message is an email Frank received and decided to post. This message brought tears to my eyes and I send my heart out to the sender:

Dear Frank,

I went to the PostSecret exhibit in Walnut Creek and left a secret on a pink index card that said:

I skipped school today.
My eating disorder is back.
I've started cutting again.

On my way home I went to the Oakland Kaiser to ask for help. They put me on the phone and I was shuffled around and transferred six times and asked the same questions over and over again until someone finally connected me to the after-hours (it was 4:00PM) urgent psych nurse.

The urgent psych nurse got mad at me and started raising her voice saying I was being too vague and she couldn't help me because I was sobbing and didn't know what was wrong.

I left numb with dejection and hopelessness. I went home and cut myself. I still don't know why. But I cleaned myself up and just sat in my room staring outside for a long long time before picking up my PostSecret books and reading through all of them completely. I felt a little less alone.

I have no idea if this is the right email address to send this to or if you will even read it. But I am writing this to say Thank you for showing me that I am not alone in my solitude. Thank you for taking time. Thank you for the gift of PostSecret.

"Though the marks on your dress; had been neatly repressed; I knew that something was wrong."

The Offspring -- Kristy, Are You Doing Okay?

And Acoustic:

"I question my government on 9/11..."

Jesse Ventura schooling the masses on controlled demolition, among other things. Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!

"I question my government on 9/11 because as you get in; for most lay people out there, they accept what they hear on TV, they accept the government's explanation but once you start getting in and studying what actually happened that day, there's a lot of problems."

"I believe if our government didn't actually participate in it, that they certainly knew it was going to happen and allowed it to happen."

One thing that got me during this interview was when the retired gentleman from the NYPD called in and said, "Governor, there were hundreds of thousands of gallons of diesel fuel stored in the basement of building number seven that ignited and burned and that's why the building fell down".

Why on earth would hundreds of thousands of gallons of diesel fuel be stored below building number seven??? I honestly cannot recall EVER hearing anything about this. It doesn't change the fact that the building fell the way it did, via controlled demolition. There is NO OTHER WAY POSSIBLE.

Some are complaining that Ventura should have mentioned the nano-thermite discovered in the rubble.

Silly boy, tricks are for kids!

"Oh what a tangled web we weave ... "

Funnily enough, I've kept him at arm's reach throughout the time I've known him. I've barely let even part of myself be known to him (guess that goes along with my whole trust-issue thingy mabob). I dunno. It's honestly not that big of a deal but it feels pretty shitty when you find out from another coworker (who obviously knew his game-plan and intercepted) that dude has a girlfriend.

Turns out he's got a chick who lives elsewhere and you know ... homey don't play that.

True, he's not married however, he obviously hasn't been honest with either one of us. Granted, I get the feeling he owes her a lot more than he does me.

Ever since I found out, I've been totally distant. No coy flirting, no sudden visits; relaying that I have other plans when he's asked me to do something. I'm just busy. I haven't let the cat out of the bag that I know, but I think he must suspect. I just don't care enough, thankfully, to portray any true feelings beyond disappointment in my fellow man.

Luckily for me, I have my guard up and don't easily get too close to people anymore. Naive Stephanie is so five years ago, friend; sorry to burst your bubble.

Ahhh life and the funny games people try and play. Don't you know if you play with fire, you are bound to get burned? Have we all not learned this lesson thus far???

All I really have to relay to him is the following picture:

(For those of you who are not aware; Dave Grohl is giving the British sign to "FUCK OFF!")

Hope you are all well. Hopefully I'll post something more interesting in the near future. :-p
